I put these both in the space section because they are based
on the same, found object. It's a small fluorescent light.
Pointless but cool. The drab green one was made for and
used in 'Space Above and Beyond'. I've yet to spot it
in Firefly, but I'm assured it's there.
The black one was a prototype for the HOB bleeder weapon.
An early mock up. It does appear in a promotional still of
Wash in the cockpit. The light is attached to a clipboard.
The same prop is being used by Mal at the start of OIS.
