Machined solid metal sections bolted
Hero props are too valuable to risk
damaging during a stunt, so rubber
copies are made. They are normally
pretty rough, but can't be spotted
(usually) as they travel through the
frame so fast.
Stunt copies are made for all weapons
used by actors in a show to minimise
the risks of injury and damage.
This one is in pretty good shape
considering. It was used in the 'Heart
Of Gold' chase sequence when Mal fights
Burgess. You'll note it's missing the
top 'scope'. Knocked off in the fight.
