Machined solid metal sections bolted
together, the Burgess laser is a well
constructed piece. It has many functions,
including a removeable data disc on the
opening sidegate, running red LEDs
along the top and red 'firing' LEDs
in the emitter nozzles. A cycling LED
display in the side gate window changes
colour when the panel is in the open
position. The front section extends
forward half an inch when the rear thumb
lever is operated. The ring-like trigger
opens the side panel. The keener eyed
viewer will have spotted this happening
in 'Heart Of Gold' during the chase
sequence. The 'Check battery indicator was
a bolt-on by the Propmaster and is still
working on it's original battery!
The battery indicator unit was part of
the collection for a long time before
the laser psitol was tracked down and
acquired. Nice to see them reunited at
last...
